Reflection: Moments are only as good as we make them.

Today, I’m grateful for: A long weekend

Challenge: Indulge in your ”me-time”

Today, I’m grateful for long weekends. On a typical week, that “Friday-feeling” only lasts about 24 hours before it’s back to the grind. But on a holiday, we get some extra time to unwind, relax and indulge in whatever the long weekend brings...

*tires screech*

OK, time for some #realtalk. As a mom, what a long weekend really means is that you get JUST enough extra time to catch up on all your housework that you MIGHT get the privilege of squeezing in a movie on the couch, or a long, hot shower, or WHATEVER luxury that you will afford yourself in these sacred extra hours.

But these moments are as good as we make them! And remember, you deserve it. However you choose to spend your holiday, I hope you embrace the shit out of it. And in the meantime, remember our essential workers who may not have the same privilege.
