Today, I’m grateful for: Home sweet home

“E-I-E-I-O”…..”I happy!”….”1, 2, go!”

These are just a few of the cute little phrases I heard bopping around my house tonight. Hearing Calvin’s sweet voice puts a smile on my face and is a reminder of what a blessing it is to just be here at home (even if all I can do is sit here.)

The simple fact of being at home brings with it so many freedoms, joys and comforts. And it’s the little things that make it special. Being able to observe Calvin experiencing new things like fireworks, saying new words, or just eating dinner together as a family. These little things (that I probably took for granted when things were different a couple months ago) mean so much, and I’m so grateful for the freedom of being at home and a part of these moments.
